Monster Feet

It’s not the monster’s fault

that its feet are ugly

and footprints irregular

It’s the shape of the claw

that isn’t easy to draw

and hard for some to measure

But the monster travels on

carry on carry on

nods its head to the artist and says

“Hey, thanks for trying this

but it’s time for me to go.

I need to visit a podiatrist.”
